Course Structure

Overseas Hospital Work Experience Plus + has been specifically designed to balance hospital based work experience and teaching sessions delivered by our outstanding staff.

An example of a week itinerary has been provided here.

Hospital Work Experience

The course delivers 25 hours hospital based work experience per week. Students shadow experienced Doctors, Dentists, Midwives or Nurses who have a track record of high quality student teaching.

University Preparations

Medical Projects University Pathway programme prepares students for challenging university entry requirements and interviews. During the course students will develop key skills and techniques through a mock panel interview with feedback and a questions and answers session to assist in university application success.

Student Support

We arrange all additional logistics for students. You will be provided with breakfast and dinner each day: private accommodation, 24/7 DBS checked staff, airport transfers (for international students), access to our Student Dashboard, a welcome pack and Medical Projects T-shirt, and a dedicated Personal Student Advisor. • The body's pulses
  • Cardiovascular examination
  • Respiratory examination
  • Abdominal examination
  • Neurological examination

Interview Workshops

We run at least 2 mock interview workshops each week that are designed to simulate certain aspects of medical school interviews. Questions will be similiar to those that you'll face in your actual interviews. Each session is concluded with some general feedback and then more detailed individual feedback. This includes:

  • Multiple Mini Interviews
  • Panel interviews
  • Group ethical debates
  • Individual 1-on-1 interview technique sessions
